September 2018 Market Action Report
September was a cool month in Portland real estate. Inventory was the highest it has been in several years despite fewer new listings hitting the market than the same time last year. Pending and closed sales were also down last month. The average and median sales price were down over 3% from August, which seems to be a short term scaling back of prices to match the demand. Now is a great time to buy with more choices and more realistic sellers!
